Project Background
The customer relied on manual sampling. Each pressure-reducing valve required three operators and an eight-minute test cycle, while the defect escape rate was too high for OEM supply.
Solution
Ouxun delivered six automated pressure-reducing valve testers with bowl feeding, a six-axis robot and multi-channel leak testing. The line shortened the cycle to 90 seconds per piece and uploaded every result to MES.
Outcome
Cycle time improved from 8 minutes to 90 seconds; the defect escape rate fell from 1.8% to 0.05%; staffing fell from 30 people to 6 patrol inspectors, saving approximately CNY 2.8 million per year.
