A press-fit pipe fitting displacement test records movement at the connection or fitting under defined pressure and hold conditions. The fixture, pressure program, time and measurement reference must be explicit. This FAQ uses Ouxun Smart equipment and process images to explain setup, records and review.

1. What should be defined first?
Confirm fitting type, connection, size, samples, medium, pressure range, hold time and displacement criteria. Mark the measurement reference, sensor direction and fixture constraints in the plan.

2. How should the fixture and reference be set?
Keep the loading direction consistent with the plan and avoid fixture slip or unintended restraint. Define the reference point, range, sampling interval and zero check; a screen image alone is not a complete record.

3. Which fields should be recorded?
- sample ID, size, connection and fixture ID;
- medium, pressure ramp, target pressure and hold time;
- displacement zero, reference, real-time and peak values;
- pressure curve, anomalies, leakage observations and stop reason;
- post-release value, raw-file location and acceptance basis.

4. How should results be reviewed?
Check pressure, time, reference and acquisition records, then apply the product requirement or agreed test plan. The images show equipment and process only; they do not prove conformity or define a universal displacement limit.
5. What is needed for selection?
Provide material and size, connection, sample quantity, pressure and medium, target displacement item, range requirements, stations and report format. Leave questions in the comments. For planning pressure-cycling type tests, see how to plan pulse fatigue testing.
