Thermal Cycling Test Machine

Application and test scope

Thermal Cycling Test Machine is intended for pipes, press-fit piping, PEX piping and pipe fittings. It is used to simulate repeated changes between hot and cold media to evaluate pipe and joint sealing and structural stability. The test arrangement is selected around the sample construction, service conditions and required evaluation method.

Tests and configuration

• Cycling between hot and cold circuits
• Hot and cold exposure under specified pressure conditions
• Leakage and visual checks at connections before and after cycling

Typical test workflow

Mount the samples for their lengths and connections, define hot and cold conditions, hold times and cycle count, then record temperature, pressure and sample observations during cycling. Perform the specified checks after the test.

Selection information

For a suitable proposal, provide pipe material and length, joint type, hot and cold temperatures, pressure, switching method and sample count. Product drawings or a sample help define connections, locating tooling and test circuits.

Measurement ranges, accuracy, automation, data interfaces and acceptance criteria are defined by the selected configuration and agreed technical proposal.
